Loncel Research and Development

Loncel has continued to invest heavily in Research and Development, and has an active on-going R&D program.

In April 2005 we were successful in obtaining a development grant for a R&D project for an innovative radio telemetry device. This breakthrough device brings a significant cost/benefit to present telemetry solutions and makes viable many applications that have been prohibitively expensive in the past, especially in the area of retrofitting gauging systems in hazardous environments.

Current R&D projects include:

• new types of sensors for tank gauging
• new uses of SRR technology in industry
• new products for hygiene applications
